PAM: This is a local charity who partners with refugee and immigrant women to foster an inclusive,
prosperous transition to the US through artisan skill training and micro business development. They contract with Swedish Hospital and sew custom made scrubs for medical personnel. I like the idea of this charity as it is not based on a “hand out” but rather a helping hand so that individuals can learn to help themselves.
