Our lovely bookkeeper, Kathy Wiggins has been with us for 13.29 years (yes, she is that accurate) and is truly a lifesaver. Her job title should probably be “Whatever Roger and Nancy Want”, as she is always doing things to make their lives a bit easier. Her business card actually says Kathy Wiggins – Nice Person. She loves wine tastings, music concerts, traveling, watching any and all Academy Award nominated movies, biking, hiking, and eating delicious foods. We are convinced her favorite part of the job is that she only has to walk five minutes down the road to get to work, but she says it is because she loves all the people she works with. (so we will take the pat on the back and run with it). She loves when clients throw housewarming parties for the company and she get’s to see the homes that match the numbers! And her favorite moments with the company were down in Mexico with everyone on the beach, toes in the sand, and drinking margaritas.
Her first real job was as a cashier at a burger joint, where she worked for $2.10/hour. Now that is what we call a penny earned!
She believes she should be given an award for getting up for 6 am Jazzercise class, but let’s be honest, she should get one for admitting that she goes to “Jazzercise”!
Her favorite movie of all time is The Sound of Music. (I think we can all imagine Kathy cuddled up on the couch with a glass of wine, some popcorn, laughing, crying, and singing along!)
